Hi there, is anyone aware of issues with MacOS 10.6 Snowleopard and Starboard software v9.0?
George Tsaousidis:
Mr S - StarBoard Software for Mac has been upgraded to work with SnowLeopard. Versions 9.1 and above are SnowLeopard compatible.

Hi George, thanks for the reply. I received and installed the mac software that you dispatched yesterday, i think it must only be v9 as it doesn't detect the board. I will try and find the update.

Mr S - no problem, if you need the update please make a software request and we can assist.

Mr S:
Hi George, I made a request by phone (to you :) a couple of fridays ago so hopefully it'll turn up in my pigeon hole at work soon. Are there plans to eventually be able to do updates online (perhaps automatically)?

Mr S:
Hi George software arrived on thursday, all installed and ready to plug in next week. Do you know whether the 'convert handwriting to text functionality' with smartpen requires you to be plugged into the board? i came across a post that seemed to suggest that

George Tsaousidis:
Hi Mr S - The StarBoard software must be used with the board connected to your computer.

Mr S:
I've come across a weird problem; when plugged into the board (with the usb cord coming straight from the board) the lsadrv recognises the connection and touch functionality works (ie I can control the my computer by touching the board) however the starboard software does not recognise the connection. I tried the 'Check Connection' and a dialogue box appears that says board not connected, the funny thing is that I can click 'ok' by touching the board. I've done a complete uninstall and am going to reinstall the software - has anyone else come across this problem? George have you got any advice before i re-install?
