Hi everyone, I have just updated to 9.2 but notice that the screen record function is not there. Where do I find it to add it?
George Tsaousidis:
Hi iPodMick - which operating system are you currently using?

iPodMick:
I am using Windows 7 on my system and I have Starboard 9.2 as mentioned above. I had a look in the old software disk and tried to add the application from the 8.11 disk but it said there was a .dll file missing! I utilise this application to record many of my lessons so that I can email them out to my students so that they can keep them on their iPods. This is especially helpful for students who are absent!

I came across the same problem yesterday with a clients Starboard. I think it is a glitch sometimes when the upgrade is downloaded as I have only seen this issue once and never on a full version disc installation.

I am in the US, but am experiencing the same problem. I downloaded the software from the Hitachi-soft website. I have loaded it on several other computers running XP and the screen record option is always there, but when I loaded the program from the same file on a laptop running Windows 7, no screen record option is available. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Apparerntly the software for the screen record is causing some issues with Windows 7 so it was easier to just drop the application! I did not find any issues when I was running the 8.1 software on the same machine.

Hi StarBoard Community,
Please wait while we organise the release of a compatible Screen Record version for Windows 7. This will be dealt with shortly.
The application was never dropped, but had compatibility problems running on Windows 7. You will find that Screen Record that comes with SBS 9-x works on XP/Vista.
Thankyou for your patience.
